Opening of new Catholic Church in Gisborne
I would like to express both my own gratitude and that of many people, including especially members of the Church Opening Committee for
your catering on our Big Day. People enjoyed
the fare you offered, which contributed to the festive nature of the occasion. That people emerged from the church after more than two hours and were promptly fed, meant that the celebrations that began with the Opening Mass ontinued on into the evening.
The 600 people turned out to be 1000 and
everyone got fed!
It was a wonderful day, and your efforts and talents were a major part of its success.
